Questions
- What is the most popular padel booking app in the UK?
- Playtomic. 464 of the 636 UK padel clubs whose booking system Zarvo knows take bookings through it (73%), followed by Padel Mates (57 clubs) and MATCHi (55 clubs).
- Do I need a different app for every padel club?
- You book through whichever system the club uses. Playtomic covers 73% of UK clubs, so if you play at more than one club you may need two or three apps. Zarvo searches live court times at 597 clubs on Playtomic, Padel Mates, MATCHi and Clubspark in one search, then sends you to the club’s booking system to book and pay.
- How do open matches work on Playtomic?
- One player opens a match and others join it, each paying for their own place. If four players have not signed up in time, Playtomic cancels the match and refunds everyone. The match’s level range is set from the level of the first player.
- Can I book a padel court without an app?
- Usually, yes. Playtomic, MATCHi and ClubSpark also take bookings on the web, and some clubs take bookings through their own website or by phone.
How we counted
Zarvo keeps a list of UK padel clubs and the booking system each one uses, built from club websites and the booking platforms themselves. The figures on this page are counted from that list each time it updates. They include clubs that are open or coming soon, and leave out clubs that have closed. Clubs sometimes change booking system, so check with the club if something looks out of date.
The app descriptions come from each provider’s own help pages and app store listings. Zarvo is not paid by any of these apps.
