Indoor and outdoor courts
386 clubs on the list have only indoor or covered courts, and list a typical £35 per court per hour. 267 clubs have only outdoor courts, at a typical £30. Clubs with both kinds are left out of this comparison, because their listed prices do not say which court they are for.
What changes the price
Most clubs charge more at busy times, such as weekday evenings and weekends, than during the working day, which is why each club lists a range. Some clubs have lower prices for members. Courts are often booked for 60 or 90 minutes, so a 90-minute booking costs about half as much again as an hour.
